Open oversight hearings to investigate ALL attacks on domestic and overseas US Properties between 01/01/2001 thru 12/31/2008 and hold those responsible for entering into an illegal war against Iraq.

These investigations will be carried out, in every case, in a responsible and bipartisan manner.
These investigations will include, but are not limited to the following attacks on US properties:
January 22, 2002 -- Calcutta, India
Terrorists associated with Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami attacked the U.S. Consulate. Five people were killed.
June 14, 2002 -- Karachi, Pakistan
Suicide bomber associated with al Qaeda attacked the U.S. Consulate, killing 12 and injuring 51.
October 12, 2002 -- Denpasar, Indonesia
U.S. diplomatic offices attacked as part of a string of "Bali Bombings." No known US fatalities.
February 28, 2003 -- Islamabad, Pakistan
Assassins attacked the U.S. Embassy. Two fatalities.
May 12, 2003 -- Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Terrorists associated with al Qaeda attacked a US diplomatic compound. Thirty-six people, including nine Americans were killed.
July 30, 2004 -- Tashkent, Uzbekistan
Terrorists associated with the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan attacked the U.S. Embassy. Two killed.
December 6, 2004 -- Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Al Qaeda terrorists attacked the U.S. Consulate and occupied the perimeter. Nine killed.
March 2, 2006 -- Karachi, Pakistan (again)
Terrorists attacked the U.S. Consulate. Four killed, including U.S. diplomat David Foy who was directly targeted by the attackers.
September 12, 2006 -- Damascus, Syria
Armed gunmen attacked U.S. Embassy. Four people killed, 13 wounded.
January 12, 2007 -- Athens, Greece
Terrorists attacked the U.S. Embassy. No fatalities.
March 18, 2008 -- Sana'a, Yemen
Members of the al-Qaeda-linked Islamic Jihad of Yemen shot at the U.S. Embassy. Shots missed the embassy, but killed two at a local school.
July 9, 2008 -- Istanbul, Turkey
Terrorists attacked the U.S. Consulate. Six killed.
September 17, 2008 -- Sana'a, Yemen
Terrorists attacked the U.S. Embassy. Sixteen killed, including an American student and her husband. Second attack on this embassy in seven months.
