Open the controlled lanes on Route 66 full time to reduce gridlock traffic durring non-peak hours
Why is this important?
A couple of years ago Fairfax County Government created "Controlled Lanes" that are open at rush hour and closed all other times. Everyday I sit in heavy or gridlock traffic during off peak times and see those controlled lanes closed when could be open easing the flow of traffic, why are they closed?? REVENUE! So cops can write us tickets.
We as tax paying citizens paid for those roads and should have the final say on how we would like to use them!
