Stop the proposed rezoning of the Old School Property, located at Crescent Dr./Magnolia Terrace/W. Main St., Chesterfield, SC from General Residential to Office Commercial. The family atmosphere of the area and the historic property should be preserved.

Why is this important?

My home is adjacent to the property in question. I am raising a family in this neighborhood. I am concerned there will be more traffic on our one way road, nighttime security lighting, extra noise, strangers in the neighborhood and lower property resale values. I also worry that the beautiful, historic old school property will not be preserved. Business does not belong in the heart of a family neighborhood or in the West Main Historic District.
