Why is this important?
Change to avert the worst of the disaster is still technically and economically possible. It involves creating a world that is less frenetic & more beautiful. This is an emergency situation, species extinction is rapidly progressing at over 1,000 times standard background rates. We demand our government institute a wartime-speed mobilization & a just transition to race to zero greenhouse gas emissions & to take carbon out of the atmosphere in order to restore a safe climate.
