Out of Afghanistan Now

We, the undersigned residents of Colorado, declare it is time to halt $200 billion in annual expenditures on wars in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq, and to move the money to fund human needs. Money for the wars is in addition to the swollen $665 billion annual military budget, and the cost of the wars will exceed $2.5 trillion by the end of 2011. Ten years of aerial assaults, drone attacks, and village raids have not brought peace. We must stop the killing. No more phased withdrawals, no continued combat troops in Iraq. Bring the troops home now. Move the money--rebuild lives here, create sustainable jobs in the USA.
