Overturn Florida Freekill Bill.

The Florida law upholds medical facilities when they neglect to treat patients and a death occurs. My mother Shirley Ann Williams was refused life saving medical treatment while in the Alachua County Jail. The law states that I can only file a claim if I am a surviving child under age 25 or a living spouse. So I am neither but I am her child. My mother suffered for 6 days with severe chest pains and numbness and tingling in her arm. Her cry for help started at the courthouse and was ignored over 6 days. May 4th 2026 - May 10th 2026. No law should allow anyone to hide behind their sworn duty to first do no harm. In this case harm was definitely done, my mom died because of their lack of care. This is an ongoing problem and it has to stop now. My mother is dead and I am emotionally exhausted from everything that I have endured over this last month of my life. Every medical facility should be help accountable for there actions for each person that they are supposed to care for. No one should have to bury their loved one due to medical neglect of care. The medical staff should be stripped of the medical license and no amount of money will bring my mother back but I should be able to be compensated for her death. The law makers need to really look into this and change this because if the shoe was on the other foot they should understand that concern.
Why is this important?
Everyone should want the same justification for all. Not one person should be exempt when a life is lost. Everyone involved should be held accountable. There is no other justice but the right justice.
