Before the United States engages in further military action, I want you to answer my question: The United Nations estimates that for less than half of the $87 billion we have spent on the war in Iraq, we could provide clean water, adequate food, sanitation services, and a basic education for every single person on earth. Why don't we give that a try instead of this endless circle of violence?
Why is this important?
For decades now, our country has tried to solve the conflicts in the Middle East through the use of force. This strategy is clearly not working.
