Petition Summary and Background: Knobby Knoll Cottage Cooperative Association is summer community of 66 cottages located in the Town of Hounsfield. Currently, Knobby Knoll cottage owners do not have access to public water. The town has proposed a new Water District for the town (Water District 6) which would include Knobby Knoll Cottage Cooperative Association.
Action Petitioned For: We, the undersigned, are voting members of the Knobby Knoll Cottage Cooperative Association in the Town of Hounsfield. We are respectfully asking the Town of Hounsfield to include Knobby Knoll Cottage Cooperative Association in the proposed Water District 6. We also are willing to give the town the right of easement to access Knobby Knoll property to install and maintain said Water District.
