PETITION: Demand Jeff Van Drew Resign
We, the undersigned residents of New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District and concerned citizens across the state, call on Representative Jeff Van Drew to immediately resign from office.
Craig Callaway’s recent conviction has once again exposed the deep-rooted political corruption that has plagued South Jersey for decades. Van Drew’s alliance with Callaway was no secret — he knowingly partnered with a political operative whose history of voter manipulation, intimidation, and unethical tactics has long been condemned by the public. Now that Callaway has been convicted in federal court, Van Drew’s continued silence and refusal to sever ties or take accountability is an insult to the voters he claims to represent.
By relying on Callaway’s machine to win elections — Jeff Van Drew has aligned himself with undemocratic, unethical forces. That disqualifies him from serving in a position of public trust.
We believe in free and fair elections. We believe South Jersey deserves leadership that is honest, transparent, and rooted in the values of democracy and accountability — not self-interest and political deal-making.
Jeff Van Drew must resign. South Jersey deserves better.
Add your name. Demand accountability.
Why is this important?
Jeff Van Drew has repeatedly betrayed the people of South Jersey by putting personal power and political deal-making above ethics, democracy, and public trust. His alliance with convicted political operative Craig Callaway is just the latest example. Van Drew knowingly relied on Callaway’s corrupt machine—built on voter suppression, intimidation, and backroom deals—to secure his reelection. That’s not leadership. That’s complicity.
This isn’t just about one politician—it’s about protecting our democracy at the local level. South Jersey deserves better than a Congressman who surrounds himself with corruption and refuses to take accountability. If we don’t stand up now, we send the message that unethical behavior is acceptable in our communities.
Joining this campaign is about drawing a line. It’s about demanding honest representation, fair elections, and a government that works for the people—not political insiders. When we organize together, we make it clear: we see what’s happening, we reject it, and we will hold our leaders accountable.
