Petition to Expand Medicaid in Tennessee
I recently received a letter in the mail saying January 1st, 2026 my BCBS Silver Plan will increase from 108$ to over 600$. I’m not alone. Federally, things do not look good. This petition is pleading with Tennessee lawmakers makers to accept federal funding to expand Tenncare/Medicaid to bridge the gap, even if it doesn’t benefit me directly.
Why is this important?
This is a huge deal, low income and middle class families are going to have to make hard choices like do I keep health insurance and cut back in other important finances. It’s a lose lose, no one can afford 200-800% increases in premiums.
