The original review of the album Canciones de mi Padre by Linda Ronstadt deserves an update. The 1988 review contains statements that would be considered offensive and insensitive by today’s standards. And given the cultural significance 35 years after the release, revisiting would be appropriate.
Why is this important?
Linda Ronstadt is a legend who does not deserve to be referred to as “an El Torrito waitress who’s been nibbling at the guacamole” when people search the seminal album on the internet.
