PETITION TO THE UNITED STATES CONGRESS REQUEST FOR IMMEDIATE ACTION UNDER THE 25TH AMENDMENT OR AOI

I. INTRODUCTION

Pursuant to the authority granted to Congress under Article I, Section 2, Clause 5 and Article I, Section 3, Clause 6 of the United States Constitution, as well as the provisions of the 25th Amendment, we, the undersigned citizens of the United States, submit this formal petition requesting immediate action to remove President Donald J. Trump from office through either:

1. Invocation of the 25th Amendment, Section 4, due to an inability to discharge the powers and duties of the presidency; or

2. Initiation of Articles of Impeachment, citing high crimes and misdemeanors, abuse of power, and violations of constitutional principles.

This petition outlines clear and compelling evidence that President Trump has engaged in conduct that endangers the stability of our government, undermines the rule of law, and constitutes a threat to national security and democratic governance.

II. GROUNDS FOR REMOVAL

A. Obstruction of Justice and Abuse of Executive Authority

• The dismissal of multiple Justice Department officials involved in criminal prosecutions against President Trump constitutes a clear attempt to obstruct justice. Such actions compromise the independence of federal law enforcement and violate the principle of checks and balances.

• This misuse of executive power mirrors past conduct that has led to previous impeachment inquiries and is a direct threat to the fair administration of justice.

B. Abuse of the Presidential Pardon Power

• On January 6, President Trump issued pardons to over 1,000 individuals convicted in connection with the Capitol riot. The use of presidential clemency to absolve individuals engaged in an attack on the United States government constitutes an egregious abuse of power.

• The Constitution does not provide for unchecked presidential authority, particularly when such power is wielded in a manner that undermines the integrity of the Republic.

C. Violation of Constitutional and Legal Precedents

• The issuance of an executive order attempting to revoke birthright citizenship contravenes the Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

• A federal court has already deemed this order unconstitutional, demonstrating a blatant disregard for the separation of powers and established legal precedent.

D. Dereliction of Duty and Threats to National Security

• Actions taken by President Trump in recent weeks indicate a failure to uphold the fundamental duties of the presidency.

• His continued conduct threatens the stability of government institutions and fosters conditions that could lead to constitutional crises.

III. REQUESTED ACTION

In accordance with constitutional provisions and the duty of Congress to uphold the rule of law, we formally request the following actions:

1. Immediate Consideration of the 25th Amendment: We urge the Vice President and a majority of the Cabinet to assess President Trump’s capacity to discharge the powers and duties of his office. If it is determined that he is unable to fulfill his obligations, the Vice President should assume the role of Acting President as per the provisions of the 25th Amendment, Section 4.

2. Introduction of Articles of Impeachment: Should the 25th Amendment not be invoked, we demand that the House of Representatives proceed with the drafting and passage of Articles of Impeachment for high crimes and misdemeanors, as outlined above.

3. Expedited Congressional Proceedings: Given the gravity of the situation and its impact on national stability, we request that all necessary proceedings be conducted with urgency and transparency to ensure accountability.

IV. CONCLUSION

The Constitution entrusts Congress with the solemn responsibility to act in defense of democracy and the rule of law. The actions outlined herein establish an undeniable case for President Trump’s removal. Failure to act in a timely manner will set a dangerous precedent that undermines the very foundations of our Republic.

We, the undersigned, respectfully submit this petition for your immediate consideration and action.

Respectfully submitted,
