Piers Morgan deserves the Presidential Medal of Freedom

Recently, Piers Morgan drew the wrath of the American gun lobby. During an interview of Larry Pratt, director of Gun Owners of America, Morgan told Mr. Pratt that he was "a dangerous man". Mr. Pratt had just explained to Piers Morgan that the solution to gun violence in America is more guns. Mr. Morgan He went further by informing Mr. Pratt: "You're a very stupid man, aren't you? "You have absolutely no coherent argument. You don't actually give a damn about the gun murder rate in America."

Because he said these things, the gun lobby wants him deported. Because he is the only public person in the United States with the courage to stand up to the gun lobby, we think he should receive the Nation's highest Civilian Honor.
