Local municipalities are paying record costs for police brutality settlements. The police unions should share the burden of the costs which currently falls totally on the taxpayers.
Why is this important?
I’m starting this petition because the City of Chicago has paid over a half billion dollars in police brutality suits within the last 10 years. As a taxpayer, I’m directly affected by this and feel that the police unions should share in the cost.
