A 20-year effort to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons finally bore fruit with a mix of US allies and adversaries signing on. Tell Congress and the President to make sure this important breakthrough is enforced.
Why is this important?
I have worked for 30 years to bring the risk of nuclear war to the public. This agreement with Iran can become a major breakthrough toward ending the nuclear era, too long characterized by MADness (Mutual Assured Destruction). Next steps will be to bring the same international determination to the elimination of nuclear capabilities in all nations. May it be so.
