Preserve Social Security!

Please oppose President Obama's "chained CPI" ideas for Social Security. Instead of indirectly cutting Social Security, in a move counter to those desired by many that voted for him, Obama should look to implement simple and straightforward fixes to ensure the future security of Social Security. There are simple solutions - like raising the income-based cap on how much people pay in (to, for example, $250,000, as suggested by Bernie Sanders) and/or making better adjustments to that cap relative to inflation and wage growth - and those solutions are what should be examined and discussed, not cuts! Social Security is a major concern for recent college graduates like myself to our baby boomer era parents who have recently retired or will be considering retiring soon to our grandparents, who are finally getting the benefits of paying into Social Security through their lives.

Why is this important?

Social Security is suddenly not so secure any more - even though it could be! This is a major problem for recent college graduates like myself to our baby boomer era parents to our grandparents.
