Resolved, that in order to preserve the integrity of the Nebraska Unicameral, all official business and reference to, and campaigning by members of the body be free of partisan identification.
Why is this important?
PARTISAN POLITICS BRINGS HATE, ANGER, SPECIAL INTEREST, AND OUTSIDE (NEBRASKA) INFLUENCE TO THE UNICAMERAL. A PARTISAN ONE-HOUSE LEGISLATURE WOULD BE USED TO CRUSH THE MINORITY PARTY IN THE STATE. AS A PROGRESSIVE, I ALREADY FEEL THE HATRED OF THE NEBRASKANS LIVING AROUND ME. A PARTISAN LEGISLATURE WOULD MAKE IT EVEN WORSE.
