Preserve Wallace Farms

Wallace Farms was built in 1880. With the growth of Grimes and all of the development we the people of Grimes feel that as a community we would like to save and preserve some of Grimes history. Wallace farms is a staple in our community and is one of the oldest farms in Iowa. We feel that the home would be a great site for the Grimes Heritage Museum which is currently located in a room in the Community Center. The history of Grimes needs to be preserved and the residents of Grimes feel that this is being overlooked.
