October 6th will be our 11th anniversary of the occupation of Afghanistan. We caught Bin Laden, it's time to bring all our troops home now!
Why is this important?
As a veteran with a step-son deployed, I am very concerned with the rise in active duty suicides (one per day), veterans committing suicide (300 per month), the number of troops dying every month in Afghanistan (on average one per day). These numbers aren't even newsworthy anymore. Peace is not treason.
