Prince Georges County Homelessness
In the richest in the DMV, funding for housing has been cut. There are over 6,000 homeless population in Prince Georges County, Maryland. The Section 8 housing list is closed. Tell Congress enough is enough; quit cutting program funding that cripples the homeless.
Why is this important?
Several times I have assisted individuals to try to get a place to live in the Prince Georges County, Maryland with no success. For the 6,000 homeless, there are only two transitional houses that only hold 18 people. Something has to be fixed to resolve this issue.
