Before the United States engages in further military action, I want you to answer my question: Would the resources allocated to support this be better used to fund domestic programs in the U.S. that Congress claims we can't pay for now? Shouldn't the needs of the American people take priority over a foreign policy designed to prevent a possible future threat?

Why is this important?

Many more people suffer and die in the U.S. due to domestic policies that neglect the immediate need to improve infrastructure, bolster security and crime prevention and reduce poverty and long-term unemployment than those that die from terrorist groups. I strongly believe we need to redirect our attention and resources to focus on the needs of the American people first and show global leadership by example rather than promoting a financially and emotionally damaging state of perpetual war.
