Former Philadelphia Officer Ryan Pownall has been fired for his unjustifiable shooting of David Jones and the next step to hold him accountable is by prosecuting him for murder.
Why is this important?
Ryan Pownall shot and killed David Jones on June 8, 2017 in the back. Jones was one of Pownall's many victims. He previously shot and paralyzed Carnell Williams-Carney on July 2010. He was a problematic officer with a history of deadly force and conduct unbecoming an officer. Corrupt and abusive officers such as Pownall damage Public trust and integrity in their profession. Prosecuting him would be in the best interest of the Public and common good.
