NO CUTS IN PENSION (PRIVATE & PUBLIC SECTOR RETIREES), SSA, MEDICARE, etc. TO SENIORS ALREADY RETIRED, EFFECTIVE 1/1/2011! ALL RETIREES MUST BE GRANDFATHERED IN WHENEVER CUTBACKS ARE APPROVED!
Why is this important?
I worked 40 years gainfully (32.5 in the public sector in NJ). I was promised for decades that all of the benefits I had at retirement will ALWAYS BE THERE FOR ME. However, AFTER being retired SIX YEARS, Gov. Christie refused to grandfather in the retirees! In addition, he TOOK BACK the last year of increase by the former Democratic Gov. Corzine! So, not only did my income not increase, my income was decreased - me & ALL NJ PUBLIC WORKERS! THE RUG HAS BEEN PULLED FROM UNDER MY FEET! I AM ELDERLY, DISABLED AND IN FEAR OF BECOMING HOMELESS AS TAXES, COST OF LIVING KEEPS RISING. I NEED A RETROACTIVE PENSION INCREASE, EFFECTIVE 1/1/2011. FYI: NJ GAVE A RETROACTIVE PAY INCREASE TO ALL CURRENT NJ WORKERS, PEOPLE WHOM ARE ABLE TO WORK. I AM NO LONGER ABLE TO WORK. IT IS DOWNRIGHT EVIL TO BE MEAN TO OLD PEOPLE, WHOM CAN NOT DEFEND THEMSELVES!
