Help protect our neighborhood!

Our homes and neighborhoods should be environments for community, safety and compassion.
Our community on Putnam Ave between Bedford and Nostrand has suffered too many decades of illegal drug dealing and using, overdoses, theft, harassment and disregard for our places of resident and we need change.
While we may never be able to change the behavioral choices that individuals make, we CAN change the affect it has on our community by shutting down the establishments that support and nurture these destructive behaviors and the aftermath created for our children, families and elderly.
We know where these establishments are that entice illegal gambling and the sale and use of illegal drugs and we demand they be shut down immediately.

Why is this important?

Without taking action for the current and future of our community, we are being complacent and indirectly supporting these disruptive and dangerous behaviors.
We should not have to be in supply of naloxone on a daily basis to be ready to help someone having an overdose .
No one should have to clean human feces from the walls of their homes and cars. No one should have to pick up used needles from their front stoop to make sure their children wont step on them.
We are pleading for your support and ACTION to protect the safety of our community.
