Our fathers, mothers, grandparents need our protection in their retirement. They worked hard for these benefits and they deserve them. They earned these benefits. Reduce the deficit by rational tax policy not keeping benefits from tax payers who paid for them. Protect Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.
Why is this important?
Few programs have been so successful at reducing poverty than these programs. We need to protect them.
