Two weeks ago our house was burglarized. Jewelry, Credit Cards and a Social Security Card were stolen.
The jewelry is gone for good, the credit cards were cancelled but when I asked Social Security to issue you me a new number they said I have to prove fraud before they will change it? When I heard that I could not belive it. So some thief can screw with my identity, try to collect on my taxes , open acccounts. Identiy theft is rampant but this was Social Securities Answer!
