Put An End to School Bullying
Schools are supposed to be safe. Sign this petition so that we can build a safe and secure environment for our children to learn.
Why is this important?
For far too long leaders of our communities have emphasized their personal agenda, while only focusing some of their attention on issues surrounding bullying.
When parents send their children to school, their hope is for their children to enter into a safe and secure environment where they will be able to learn, create life-long friendships, and go on to become leaders of the next generation.
In most cases where bullying occurred there was no adult supervision. Policies have been put into place to prevent bullying, but have failed to do so. If stricter policies are put into play we may be able to limit the number of bullies in our schools.
For far to long we’ve held the bullies accountable, but now it’s time for the schools to hold parents accountable. The parents of the bullies should be required to pay compensation for any damages, and if the victim has to have a doctor check up, the parents of the bully should be required to cover the costs.
Sign the petition to demand that the Florida state Legislature endorses the passing of a bill that supports this. Let’s build a safe and secure environment for our children to learn - but not just for our generation, but for the generations to come.
