Reduce recidivism, and increase the success of marraiges suffering from Incarceration

Reduce recidivism, and help to maintain the bonds of family by allowing Private Family Visitation programs in correctional facilities.

Why is this important?

My Husband in incarcerated at Rush City Correctional Facility, MN. He was convicted of 2nd degree murder after an attempt to save his own life. As a result, our family is falling to apart. Maintaining a strong family, and successful Marriage will not only decrease the recidivism rate, but it will also increase the safety of correctional staff, and prevent children from growing up with only one parent. Private Family Visitation programs have proven in other states to have substantial positive effects in the areas I have listed and other areas as well.
