REDWOOD TREE & COOLING THE PACIFIC OCEAN
Redwood trees are the tallest tree in the world, and their height serves a purpose in their habitat/ environment on land. Every species is representative in their environment and has a unique talent.
Their tall trunk brings cool air that keep the sea surface temperature cool in the Pacific Ocean. Hence, balance the warm and cool current.
Summer season is warmer in
California and Oregon located in the lower latitude, than in Washington, but the upwelling of the Pacific Ocean 🌊 in California Oregon is cooler than in Washington Ocean. This is because of the effect of Redwood tree along the coast of California and Oregon.

Why is this important?
Redwood trees are a great asset in our ecosystem system, they balance the sea surface temperature in the Pacific region. Marine communities depends on the natural habitat of Pacific ecosystem.
