Currently, there are two bills in Rhode Island (H5655 and S503) to prevent people who have a restraining order against them or who have been convicted of domestic violence from owning guns. According to experts, it is five times more likely that domestic violence ends in murder when the abuser has access to a gun. Please pass these bills!
