Marijuana draws no harm to citizens of the United States and is causing continuous crime and black market income for many criminals in the United States due to the fact that it's illegal. Remove it from the Controlled Substances Act by passing the The Marijuana Justice Act to legalize a safe recreational drug.
Why is this important?
I am starting this petition because of the fact that I currently have two cousins currently in jail for non-violent marijuana drug offenses. They did not cause any harm to anybody nor sold the product but simply used the product recreationally and are now sitting in a jail cell. This is not moral and makes no sense to spend tax money on people who are non-violent to society.
