Remove Rush Limbaugh's Program from WHBU Radio
Rush Limbaugh has attempted to shame and silence the women of America for speaking out on sexual health issues and medical insurance coverage. He has done this by publicly insulting a private citizen who is a Georgetown University law student by calling her a "slut" and a "prostitute" and further suggesting she videotape her many sexual exploits (as he put it) and letting the taxpayers watch. We need to send a strong message that that type of verbal assault or abuse will not be tolerated in the United States of America and specifically in Anderson, Indiana.
Why is this important?
I am asking for your signature to petition WHBU 1240 radio station in Anderson, IN to remove Rush Limbaugh's program from their airwaves. His remarks are reprehensible and unacceptable to women on their sexual health issues and constitute verbal abuse. A woman's health should be a private matter between her and her doctor. It is also appropriate for insurance to provide coverage regardless of the group's religious affiliation as this is a woman's health issue, not a separation of church and state issue, as the insurer would be offering the coverage. Please stand tall on this issue and sign in agreement to remove his program from the Anderson airwaves.
