Renovate 5416 Nutting Instead of Razing and Rebuilding
This campaign has ended.
Sign the petition to prevent T & S Builders from tearing down 5416 Nutting Drive in Ravensworth farm and instead, renovate the existing structure, thus avoiding the following from happening:
Creating hazardous conditions for young elementary school children crossing Nutting Drive.
Impeding the flow of high-volume traffic transporting elementary school children.
Blocking the entrance of school buses to Ravensworth Elementary School.
Causing significant vibration to surrounding residential structures.
Avoiding environmental pollution from construction vehicles.
Preventing significant increases in surrounding home property taxes caused by a new home's exorbitant sale's price.
Destroying the intended ambience of the neighborhood.
Destroying the original development's architectural harmony that initially attracted neighborhood home buyers.
Exceeding the single family, two and half story height limitation cited in the Association's original by-laws.

Why is this important?
Building a monstrously large structure* on a modestly appointed block, endangering young children during construction, interfering with the orderly flow of traffic, disruption of the peace, solemnity and mental stability of surrounding homeowners and significant increase in property taxes, is detrimental to the neighborhood and its inhabitants.
