Reopening of Beauty, Barbers, and Nail Salons with Limited Occupancy (Soft Opening May 1st 2020?)

Please allow us to service our communities by providing services on a one on one basis and a limited entry of 4 individuals per 1000 square foot facility. This is a critical time for the self employed cosmetologists, manicurists, estheticians and barbers. We are an essential business to our communities. We should be able to continue servicing our clients while taking all necessary health precautions while abiding and following our disinfection and sanitation procedures.

We are able to control our atmosphere better than essential hardware stores or food markets, which due to Covid19 has been at full capacity at times, even though some customers wear masks some do not. We as small businesses can request our clients wear masks at all times and reschedule their services if anyone has been ill in their immediate family or associates.

We also know our regular clients and can prescreen new clients by booking appointments over the phone. In order to save many small businesses and our economy, we need to be able to open and generate income since many of us might not receive the capped small business loan no longer available to us.

Why is this important?

This is important because we provide personal hygiene that helps people's mental health, self esteem and physical health. In this very stressful time people need a break from everything they are going through, which can range from an overwhelmed single mother to a stressed out father who is an essential worker, who works all day and heads home to a stressed out family.

We are an ear that listens and comforts them by allowing clients to confide their troubles and worries. We help them get by with their regular lives while under these difficult times.
