To: Rep. Andy Kim (NJ-3)
Rep. Andy Kim (NJ-3) needs to support impeachment inquiry against Trump immediately.
Rep. Andy Kim, please add your name to the members of Congress supporting an impeachment inquiry.
Why is this important?
During Mueller's testimony in front of Capitol Hill lawmakers last week, he made it clear that the primary reason that he did not consider indictments against the sitting president is because "of guidance from the Office of Legal Counsel (within the Justice Department) that a sitting President cannot be indicted," not because there wasn't cause for indictments. Mueller's testimony and report did not exonerate the president.
In fact, Mueller's testimony and report point to a president who is mired in attempts to undermine the Constitution and the law, not to mention the numerous human rights violations Trump is mandating at the border. It is long overdue to begin an impeachment inquiry into the sitting president, and a growing number of Representatives and Senators have come out for an inquiry in just the last week. Rep. Andy Kim needs to come out in support of pursuing an impeachment inquiry against Trump immediately.
