Rep. Joseph Crowley: Will you stand with us to oppose President Obama's cuts to Social Security?

Rep. Crowley: Will you stand with us to oppose President Obama's cuts to Social Security? Of all the cuts that might be made, these are the worst possible choices. Further, there is no real need for them. Social Security has worked well for decades. There should be no initial step -- which this indeed is -- to start dismantling it. Will you stand with us by saying no to President Obama's proposal to cut Social Security by lowering the cost-of-living adjustment for current and future retirees?

Why is this important?

There should be no cuts to Social Security, Which means that President Obama's proposed budget should not even be putting these on the table for discussion. We need to get local, like-minded members of Congress to stand against this now.
