REPAIR SLIGO CREEK GOLF COURSE PARKING LOT!

Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission (MNC-PPC) has long-delayed repairing the parking lot at the Sligo Creek Golf Course. This lot and entrance driveway are filled with potholes, ruts and uneven pavement hazardous to golfers, summer concert attendees, Holy Cross hospital essential workers, other visitors, staff, and vehicles.
Therefore, we, the undersigned, call upon MNC-PPC to--
Immediately REPAIR the hazardous parking lot; and
Plan for and fund a long-term sustainable improvement to the lot
Why is this important?
The condition of the Sligo Creek Golf Course parking lot is a danger to the Course's patrons, pedestrians--seniors & children--individuals with disabilities, and Holy Cross Hospital employees who regularly use the lot.
How it will be delivered
We'll deliver the petition to the Chair of the Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission, the Montgomery County Executive, the President of the Montgomery County Council, the Executive Director of the Montgomery County Revenue Authority, the Montgomery County Director of Parks and the Montgomery County Director of the Department of Environmental Protection.
