Repeal the Electoral Count Act of 1887

Repeal the Electoral Count Act of 1887. Pass legislation confirming that the electoral votes submitted by the states are final unless misconduct is proven in the state courts or federal courts.

Why is this important?

The Electoral Count Act of 1887 gives congress powers not granted under the Constitution. The Constitution does not give congress the power to decide which electoral votes shall be accepted. The Constitution does not give states the option to submit competing slates of electors so the entire process of the Act should be considered invalid.
