Repeal the unfair WEP/GPO legislation that allows the U.S. government to reduce one's social security benefit by up to $355 a month.
Why is this important?
This legislation enacted in 1987 reduces peoples' monthly social security benefit by two thirds of their other monthly pensions that they earned and are entitled to. This effects teachers, firemen, policemen, nurses and all those who have paid into and earned any non-private sector or government pensions from other countries.
