Representative Davis, please do not let the Republicans cut the safety net. No cuts to Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid. Many seniors have been kept out of poverty because of these programs. Budget should not be balanced on their backs.
Why is this important?
I am 67 years old. Fortunatley for me my husband is still working and I have health insurance through him but sooner or later I will need medicare. I have a whole host of medical issues. Without medicare I will not be able to afford my medical care.
