Require That Presidential Candidates Qualify For Top Security Clearance
The President of the United States is privy to some of the most sensitive and classified information in the world. The privilege of having access to this information should require thorough vetting and clearance. Unfortunately, that is not the case right now, and as a result, we currently have a president that was not vetted, and now we are uncertain about where his true loyalties lie.
In order to run for president to serve this country, candidates should be able to qualify for and receive top security clearance. Otherwise, we will end up in this situation again.

Why is this important?
Mandating Top Secret clearance for presidential candidates would have disqualified Trump in 2016 and could protect us from compromised candidates. There is no doubt that the U.S. has been negatively affected by having an unfit president in the White House. We cannot let this happen again.
