If a senior citizens do not enroll in Medicare Part B during the initial enrollment period they will be penalized 10 % for each of the 12 months that the they did not enroll. Our legislators should seek ways to stop out-of-pocket cost for Medicare Part B. " No Penalty."
Why is this important?
This petition is to help our senior citizens who discovered they need Medicare Part B and was told about the 10% but could not afford it due to financial hardship. Medicare Part B will average about over one hundred dollars a month. I have talked with a lot of seniors who need Medicare Part B but they can't afford the penalty.
