Dear City of Plantation Council member,
As a resident of plantation living in Plantation Acres, I sign this petition to urge you to support retention of speed bumps in Plantation Acres. Since the removal of speed bumps (for repaving) in our neighborhood, we have witnessed a disturbing increase in the incidence of speeding vehicles which endangers our neighbors, our children, and our pets. Those with concerns about the speed bumps can mitigate virtually every concern by simply slowing down as they traverse the devices. Please ensure that the speed bumps are reinstalled as quickly as possible.
Why is this important?
Speed bumps have been removed from the streets of Plantation Acres for repaving. A significant increase in speeding vehicles has occurred which endangers the residents and pets or our neighborhood. With this petition we, the residents, urge the City of Plantation to ensure the speed bumps are reinstalled as quickly as possible.
