Revoke Insurance coverage of Viagra and other 'male enhancement' medicine
Women are facing a huge battle that we thought we had already won, the battle for control of our bodies and our health. In fact, it is a battle just to have our opinions counted and considered.
It is an astonishing fact that in 2012, our 'representatives' would even consider meeting to discuss women's health issues and rights without even one woman present.
Birth control has several uses for women's health, one of which is preventing unwanted pregnancies. There are several other medical purposes for this medicine, which is why it should be covered by health insurance.
It is also a fact that Viagra and other medications specifically for male sexual performance ARE covered by health insurance.
How can this paradox continue?
I invite you to sign my petition to revoke insurance coverage of medications that have no other medicinal purpose than enhancing male sexual performance.
It seems the epitomy of sexism to have insurance pay for something which directly leads to pregnancy and has no other medicinal value, but then deny women the ability to have access to birth control, which has several medicinal benefits, one of which happens to be preventing unwanted pregnancies.

Why is this important?
As men in Congress continue to hold meetings on women's health issues without any women present, I believe it is time women make a stand together.
This petition proposes that if birth control is not to be covered by health insuance plans, coverage for Viagra and other potency drugs should be revoked.
