We just lost Ruth Bader Ginsburg, one the finest legal minds in American history. We could lose our democracy - if Trump nominates a far-right crony to replace her.
As citizens fighting tooth and nail to defend our democracy - we call on every single member of the Senate to BLOCK the nomination of a partisan, far-right nominee to the nation's highest court until AFTER the election.
Why is this important?
Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a legal giant, and a tireless champion of justice and equality. She was an iconic inspiration to millions, and a bulwark of fairness on the nation's highest court.
Contrast that to the men Trump has already short-listed for her replacement: far-right zealots like Tom Cotton, Ted Cruz, or hardcore loyalists like Attorney General Barr. Right now our democracy is on a razor's edge - and stopping our nation's descent into far-right, white supremacist fascism depends on fighting with everything we've got to defend the balance of the Supreme Court.
