We request that the Penn Line of the Marc train run on weekends as well as weekdays. Many people not only work on weekends but want to travel between Anne Arundel county and Baltimore and Washington DC, and there is no option for them except driving.
Why is this important?
The MARC train is the only public transportation available to people to go to baltimore and the counties in between washington and baltimore on the weekends. It is very fast and convenient, should be made available to people on weekends as well as during the weekend. What during the week is a 20 minute trip for me to odenton takes about 2 hours on the weekend and someone has to pick me up at a very far bus stop in pointer ridge which is the only bus on weekends in anne arundel. Besides the PENN line the other Marc lines are just as important and should also be run on weekends.
