US benefits from educated young. Ripping people from their home & families did NOT work with slavery: we MUST learn from our mistakes. All of us arrived here from immigrant forebears & contributed together to make this country great. Now, we are tarnishing that reputation with policies that discriminate because of the mistaken idea that White is right! Get over that color nonsense or we will damn this nation!**
Why is this important?
Working for yrs. with those of color, whether Black or Latinos,Muslims, etc has proved to me that we are all the same; that many of our policies are race-driven; fear of the other.We must get to know each other individually & personally.
