The Postal Service Provides an important public service to the American people without using tax dollars. We want to preserve and stop consolidation and closures, to stop the destruction of the service standards.
Why is this important?
The closure of the Northbay Petaluma DDC building will greatly delay all of Northern California coast's mail. All residents will be adversely affected. For example, customer who receive their medicine by mail may have to wait longer to receive prescriptions. There will also be a large environmental impact due to the extra transportation needed to move the mail. This will effect over 200 jobs and will impact the community greatly in lost revenue as well. We urge you to save our Postal Service.
