Save our bears in Florida

There has been a ban on hunting bears in Florida for years. Because of development, tourism, and overpopulation, we have destroyed the bears' habitat. The ban has been lifted, and now hunting licenses are being sold, with hopes to kill all the bears left.

Why is this important?

I have lived in Florida most of my life, and I have watched how our indigenous animals are being destroyed at an alarming rate.

Florida is just a microcosm of the world today. People would rather gun down and destroy their problem of overpopulation rather than solve it.

The poor bears are the one that will die and suffer. If these adult animals are killed, their cubs have no chance of surviving. Man is their greatest enemy.
