Tell Senators Whitehouse and Reed to protect Social Security even if they have to fillibuster the U.S. Senate.
Why is this important?
Too many politicians have been trying to promote the idea that Social Security has been a "primary" driver to raising the National Debt. Nothing could be further from the truth! As a person who has worked since age 14 at age 53 I was told to stop working by doctors due to a chronic medical condition. This has made me, like so many elderly and disabled, dependant on small monthly checks to survive.
